My CRAZY but very OPINIONATED little sweatheart

Cruz is very stubborn....just like his dad. He has certain things that are wierd but have to be his way. For example: he has to wear a shirt underneath his sleepers. He has to pick out his own outfits in the morning. You have to use gel and not mousse on his hair. He also flipped out today when he got out of the tub and he had pruney hands because he had been playing in the water for too long. He will only eat off of the green bowl or the green plate. You wonder where he gets this from? Although he is my sweatheart and knows how to make me smile. Yes....he is sleeping again....on top of the toys.

Lost and Looking for a title?????

I had to capture the moment.

Guilty?

Why do people constantly return to the refrigerator with hopes that something new to eat will have materialized?

Ask Jake how many times he has been to our fridge tonight. He is guilty in many ways. Although I haven't been grocery shopping since Betsy was here during Christmas (except for the basics....milk, bread, eggs, cheese, and soaps) so this is so true in our case. I think it's time to go to the store....

Snow Cold Day!?

This morning when we woke up (at 7:30 a.m.) it was -18 degrees! Too cold for me. They said that with the wind chill it was -34 degrees. These kind of temperatures I have heard of in Canada and Alaska....or even Russia but here? Needless to say they canceled school and called it a cold day. Now it's an inside day for us.....time to go plan some activities.

Ode To The Man ...

The AXE! Man.

Axel this past summer informed me that his new name is "Axe Man". I thought that I would remind him.

WE MISS YOU!

Copy Cat.....

This is in regards to Phoebe's blog. I was just a little bit curious....

My pirate name is:

Mad Anne

Rackham

Every pirate is a little bit crazy. You, though, are more than just a little bit. You have the good fortune of having a good name, since Rackham (pronounced RACKem, not rack-ham) is one of the coolest sounding surnames for a pirate. Arr!

Narcolepsy????

Nope....just tired.
Nate fixed some yummy Chicken Curry for Christmas....but.... ....Cruz was so worn out that he fell asleep. He does this quite often when his schedule is "interrupted." If he isn't to bed on his bedtime, he doesn't make it thru the day without a nap. Unfortunately it's usually around dinner time so then he isn't tired come bedtime. What a vicious cycle. The last two weeks have been this way....

As you can tell (this is on New Year's Eve), he was watching one of our Hawaii videos and he fell asleep watching it. It's so cute I just have to document it!

Christmas Day (and a little late)

We had a great and relaxed Christmas with the Brunners! Here are a few pictures from that fun morning.

Kirsten got some more Littlest Pet Shops to add to her collection. (She actually doubled it. Jake and I hadn't noticed how many we picked up here and there.) Santa brought her a couple "houses" for them.Cruz got started on Bob the Builder. He loves and goes nuts for Bob. Katanya (like most babies) enjoyed the paper and the bows....but afterward enjoyed her bouncer. She has outgrown the swing. She also got a bunch of clothes since she went straight from 3-6 months to 12 months in clothing.Jake was soooo excited.

Christmas Eve Traditions

I am still a week behind in posting. I will have to do better (maybe that will be one of my resolutions....maybe not).

For Christmas Eve, we had a big Soup party. We invited the Schellenberg's (Aaron and Jen and family) over so along with Betsy and her family and our family, it was quite the clan. We made (my fav) split pea, potato, and taco soup. After dinner we did the normal traditional Christmas Eve that Jacob and Betsy grew up with. We read Davey the Donkey and also out of the Bilbe. Then we did one of my traditions and let the kids open up one present. A picture of everyone on Christmas Eve.Th kids and their funny face picture.Cruz loves getting piggyback rides!
The big(ger) sisters and the little sisters.
