Five is a handful!

On Memorial Day, I took the challenge to try to take my kids' pictures. I had forgotten the work that this entailed.
Its quite the job to get five children to look at the camera.....
and smile.....
without making a funny face,

or standing funny,
or even pouting, all while focusing and working the camera.
I may or may have not let a certain someone play with a stick to make them happy.
I have forgotten how much babies hate grass.
But, I think I was able to capture a few that will work, for now.
I also love how Kielle still sticks her tongue out all the time.  How I love these kids!

one picture = one happy mom

Just when I thought I was going to lose it from all the teasing, yelling, not listening, and fighting this weekend. I came upon this.
Its moments like this is that makes it ALL worth it.

Cruz drew this as we listened to conference yesterday. I love that he drew him and the prophet together. He even wrote the prophet a letter (in yellow ink).

Push, run, pose and snap!

Easter Sunday, we decided to get a new "feet" picture.
We climbed up the piles of dirt....
barefoot. And hitting the button to take the picture and running halfway up the hill barefoot didn't feel too good.
The clods and the rocks hurt. But then we decided....
to take some silhouette pictures and that was even harder.
We were barefoot and I was running completely up the dirt mountain, posing, in less than 10 seconds.
It hurt even more, but it was well worth it.
