Red head

It had been over 6 months that I had a hair cut or my hair dyed. I think that's been a record. Plus, I was starting to notice more gray than I wanted to. Just a little bit here and there but still, I'm under 30. So last week, I went red with a little bit of blonde.

Creativity. That's all I can say. Cruz dressed himself. As hard as it was, I let him stay this way all day long.
He's also so proud of his "tractor" books. What they really are are construction auction pamplets with a list and pictures of the upcoming machinery.
P.S. Keli, I thought of you when I saw this.

Inspiration.... PART TWO

If you can remember the green bowl with oranges....this is what become of it. Before our California trip we finally finished painting the kitchen a new color. Jake made me swear before hand that this would be the only room that we repainted. (Which of course I did but I can reneg later.) Jake wasn't so sure of the color beforehand but he liked the after look.
My favorite thing about the kitchen still. I have had so many people ask me when we are going to get the doors on the cupboards. The same follow-up question comes next, "How do you keep them so clean?" Also, notice Jake finally got the piece on under the sink : )
Look at all that depressing snow. And yes it is piled higher than the mailbox in places.
We only painted the kitchen where the green used to be. I love it! Now for the chair underneath.....this is Jake's next project with the bar. If you can only imagine.....(The chair is the same color as the bowl on the table.)

A long wait.

Our new couch! We love IKEA!
(P.S. We had just gotten home from Utah and I had to go help Jake haul. Then we came back and set the couch up. Hence the reason the kitchen is very messy! It is now clean thanks to a loving husband.)

Fuzzy Wuzzy

Jake wanted to bic his head Sunday morning. Last minute he decided to go with a number one (I am thankful for this.)Kirsten: (while shaving) Don't worry dad, it will grow back. (continues shaving)Kirsten: When dad has no hair he looks like a cat with ears. (how she got it was his hairline)
LATER THAT NIGHT....
Kirsten: Dad is my fuzzy wuzzy.
