More snow and more snow

This weekend it didn't stop. I asked our neighbor if this kind of snow was a lot for Idaho, and he said this is a "normal" year. I'm not so sure about this anymore. Anyway we bundled up the kids and went and played. The snow was blowing and wet and blinding so I couldn't see the pictures I was taking. I was the first to go in. I guess maybe it's time that I invest in a pair of snow boots.

So fun! I used to love when my dad would pile up the snow with the tractor and make us the coolest sledding hill. Good times, good times.

I used to pile the snow with the loader but I learned a neat trick ... if you make a big dirt pile and then wait for the wind to blow the snow just piles itself. Right now we have about 12 inches on the ground and like 4 - 6 feet wherever it drifts.

Reminds me of the snow caves you and Dad used to build. However, I am glad to be in a country with NO SNOW> It rains but you can always go out and be fairly comfortable.
