After googling my problem the solution was perfume on a q-tip. Did it work?

It is the alcohol in the perfume that works.
Hairspray also works really well, for example, on pens that leak all over in the shirt pocket of your favorite shirt.
Yeah, other things like alcohol said it discolored the leather though. Perfume was the only thing recommended that did the least damage. Hairspray didn't work. I have used that on clothes. I also tried Mary Kay oil free makeup remover....didn't work.
The perfume didn't even discolor it. I'm surprised.

I love stain removal. It's a weird fetish I have, kinda like trash mags.
at least you got it out. Anna CUT our couch. I've sewn it - but it's starting to rip again. I may just have to buy a cover:( They never stay put!!!
